OneShot Cable Release for all Phase One Digital Backs
The OneShot Cable Release PHA-001 is designed for use with technical and standard view cameras along with some non-Hasselblad medium format cameras eliminating the need to pre-release or wake-up the Phase One digital back. Without the OneShot you have to fire your shutter once and then re-cock the shutter a second time and fire again to capture an image. When configured as shown the OneShot cable release operates just like a regular cable release eliminating the need to fire your shutter twice. All OneShot Cable Releases are available with the P/IQ series multi-pin or the older H sub-mini connector. Recommended for Technical and View Camera applications.
Note: Use of the "zero latency" setting on your Phase One P40+, P65+ and IQ series under heavy or live video use causes the backs to consume more power and run warmer. The Kapture Group Oneshot allows you to use "normal latency" to run much cooler with greatly extended battery life between charges.
The only difference between the Standard PHA-001 and the Wide version of the OneShot Cable Release PHA-001W is the length of the cable between the OneShot housing and the P/IQ or H series connector that plugs into your digital back. Typically the wide version which incorporates a 6 inch coil cable is used with technical cameras and the Standard OneShot with its 12 inch coil cable is used for view camera applications with their longer bellows extension.
